Beauty Blundren: How light is too light?

Oh Selena, you cute little thing you, you're adorable and I'm still on your side after the Gomez- Beiber split, but that concealer has just got to go.

When choosing your concealer, find one that's only one shade lighter than your foundation. Any lighter, and you may end up looking like a reverse racoon (and nobody wants that). Test the concealer on the back of your hand- if it's too light for your hand, it's too light for your face.

If you know you're going to be photographed, be careful when picking one with light reflecting qualities or SPF. The flash will NOT be your friend. Same goes for whatever product you choose to set your concealer with. If you're looking to cover your dark circles, find a concealer with a peachy undertone, and apply after you've put on your foundation. Then, lightly dust with a powder to set.

Already bought a concealer that's too light for you? Not to worry. You can use your too-light concealer as a highlighter, just not under your eyes. Dab on the tops of your cheekbones, under your eyebrows, and on the bridge of your nose (any peaks on your face).
