Can't live without my...

Clinique Moisture Surge Intense and Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief

These sisters are a must in my skincare routine. My skin is terribly dry in the winter, so the Clinique moisturizer is a lifesaver. Even if you don't suffer from dry skin as I do, moisturizer is still important! And as for the Origins serum, my skin has never been as clear as when I started using this. It's especially great for when your skin is recovering from, say a fabulous night out, or a stressful but enjoyable holiday weekend. Just apply generously to a clean face before bedtime. Enjoy :)

Why Don't You Love Me?

Beyonce can be crying rivers of black mascara and she's still stunning. Check her out in her video"Why Don't You Love Me?" Her looks are 60's inspired with a modern twist.

I'll just make a short list of things I love about this picture: winged liner, full lashes, strong brows, pinky/nude lips (and a pout to match), giant rings, and martini.

Let's talk bronzer.

Feel like you're starting to look like The Walking Dead? Well you don't. You're gorgeous! But it IS almost winter and it's not as easy to get that fresh off the beach, sun-kissed look anymore. Bronzer can be daunting for first timers, but it can be a useful tool in your beauty artillery to achieve a sexy sun-kissed look.

1. Pick the right shade. Finding a bronzer that compliments your skin tone is key. If you're fair skinned, avoid any orangey or brown shades. Do pick a color a few shades darker than your natural skin tone, and a little will go a long way.

Benefit, Hoola.

2. Put it in the right place. With a big fluffy brush and a light hand, dust it on the parts of your face that the sun hits first. This means your forehead, the tops of your cheeks, the bridge of your nose, and your chin. Start with a little and slowly build it up. This will also help your bronzer to last longer.

3. Highlight. For get a healthy glow, highlighter can help your face looking dewy and fresh. Just pat some on your cheekbones (just at the very tops of your cheekbones), down the center of your nose, and on your cupid's bow. Use a clean finger to blend it in.

Urban Decay, Sin.

Last but not least, don't forget to smile. What makes you sexy is confidence- happy bronzing!

Jewel Mint

If you guys haven't heard of Jewel Mint by now, you probably live under a rock. In the shopping world anyway.

Jewel Mint is another one of those subscription websites that automatically charges you for their services at the beginning of each month, gives you "credits", and you can leisurely pick which items you want at any time from your showroom. There's also a Shoe Mint, Home Mint, and Inti Mint. The list goes on. And if you're anything like me,  you hit "skip month" the first of every month, and then think about buying things all month anyway. Whatever your shopping style is, Jewel Mint does offer some cute pieces. Take for example, the Briar Beauty necklace. My most worn Jewel Mint piece.

Or the Sante Fe Sunset earrings + bracelet

Te Amo bracelet
Madame Mystery earrings

Jewel Mint tends to be a problem. Not only because they make it a little too easy to have these things at your doorstep within the week, but also because they constantly offer promotions, like BOGO, free lippy, nail polishes, clutches, bags, and even mystery items. They should really rename this site Crack Mint, but that's just my humble opinion.

Happy Shopping!
