Bought this over the holiday at The Body Shop in the Charlotte airport, and what a great find. I'm one of those girls with 10 lipglosses in her purse, but can never find "the right one" when needed. Born Lippy smells and tastes wonderful, not to mention it cures chapped lips in an instant (and I mean, an instant). The color is sheer with no glitter, and is not too sticky. Undoubtedly your boyfriend will be asking you for some of this :)

Mascara Shmascara
I suffer from what is known as SSES (short, straight, eyelash syndrome). I am constantly curling, twirling, and applying mascara to my poor little lashes. Having tried many (and I mean MANY) mascaras, these are my top four mascaras- so far. Each have easy to use wands and great formulas that give me full, voluminous lashes with minimal layering. Try them out! One of them may be the answer to your prayers... :)
1. Diorshow waterproof mascara in blue
2. Estee Lauder Double Wear Zero smudge lengthening mascara
3. Benefit They're Real
4. Clinique lash doubling mascara

Merry Christmas to Your Skin
I was at the Union Square Holiday Market this past week and stumbled upon these great little stocking stuffers. Dr. Softskin's lotion candles. What is a lotion candle you ask? I too was skeptic when the man in the booth took what looked like candle wax and rubbed it on my hand. But the result was amazing. My dry hands were loving this. Just light the candle until the top layer is melted, blow out the candle, and rub the melted "wax" on your hands. Instant gratification. I chose three candles in Lover's Lane, Relaxing Remedy, and Euphoria.

Mermaid Waves
This tutorial is a simple way to get big, sexy hair for your next holiday or New Year's party. All you will need is a heat protection spray, wave wand or curling iron, paddle brush and some regular hairspray. I'm using the Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Conicurl that a wonderful friend gave to me for my birthday this year :)
1.Spritz hair with a heat protection hairspray. Use fingers to brush through them until dry. I'm using Carol's Daughter Macadamia Heat Styling Hairspray |
3. Use a paddle brush to brush your hair thoroughly. This will help the curls fuse together and look fuller and more natural. |
4. Finish with a little hairspray and voila! Loose, beautiful mermaid waves for a night out. Good luck! |

Dear Santa,
I hope this letter finds it's way to you in the North Pole. I've been a very good girl this year, so please send some elves to put some (or all ) of these things under my Christmas tree :)
iPad mini
Also, if I could get the DVD set for Game of Thrones Season 2 before the rest of the world sees it, I will never ask for another present again-
Love,

VS Fashion Show 2012
I couldn't help but watch this spectacular display of beautiful models prancing down the runway in handmade couture costumes. Here are some of my favorite looks from last night's show (naturally I chose the 30's/40's inspired Hollywood glam outfits). Check out more photos here.
